In the modern NATO era, the Finnish Defence Forces reaches a broader audience than ever. With the youth around conscript age among its most important, the Defence Forces needed social content that could communicate the realities and opportunities of conscript service in a more engaging and relatable way than traditional institutional communication. With trust, reliability and understanding at is core, alongside operational capability.
As part of Defence Command's media production team, I planned and executed campaigns and social media content from concept to production. Through a documentary-driven approach, I focused on real people, genuine experiences and visually engaging storytelling.

A Year Full of Opportunities encouraged young minds, both men and women, to reflect on conscript service as a meaningful life experience, not just a break from it.
Through short, authentic videos, conscripts share what makes the service rewarding—highlighting both its challenges and positive moments. The campaign invites young minds to reflect on their own motivations and approach service with an open mind.
The campaign also serves as part of the promotion for voluntary military service for women.
