A truly Vantastic podcast series about Vantaa! (Season 6)

The Vantastic podcast refreshed its concept for 2026 with a seven-episode documentary-style season. Filmed on location across Vantaa’s major districts, each episode highlighted the area's unique character, services, nature, and everyday life. Keeping it authentic with real talk and unscripted moments.

Featuring Viivi Pumpanen, Jere Pöyhönen, Lauri Kaivoluoto, Peppina Rose, Chike Ohanwe, Miska Haakana, Nora Rantala and Otso Saano.

Residents asked. Vantaa delivered. The new outdoor gyms in Leppäkorpi, Korso, and Bäckby, Tikkurila, funded through participatory budgeting, are examples of residents’ ideas being turned into concrete action.

We visited Leppäkorpi to hear from the people who use the facilities. A directed documentary approach kept the film authentic and spontaneous, capturing genuine reactions and moments rather than a polished, commercial feel.

The result is a more natural look into how the new facilities are being used and what they mean to the people who asked for them.
